Meet Nico Robin: The Mysterious Miss All Sunday

The newly revealed poster showcases Lera Abova as Nico Robin, initially known as the mysterious Miss All Sunday. Robin represents a major tonal shift for the series as she enters as one of the main antagonists working as vice president of the criminal organization Baroque Works.

In Oda’s original manga, Robin is a lonely survivor from Ohara with the power of the Flower-Flower fruit giving her the ability to sprout body parts like flowers. This unique Devil Fruit power makes her one of the most visually distinctive characters in the franchise.

Lera Abova gained recognition for her role in the action-thriller Anna and the comedy series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. Her casting as Robin brings sophisticated menace to one of anime’s most complex characters who eventually becomes a beloved Straw Hat crew member.

Princess Vivi Enters Undercover

Charithra Chandran portrays Princess Vivi, also known as “Miss Wednesday,” who goes undercover in a dangerous organization to discover who is trying to destroy her home. The poster reveals Chandran’s transformation into the determined princess of the Alabasta Kingdom.

Chandran became a global star as Edwina Sharma in Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton and also appeared in Alex Rider. Her experience with period dramas and action sequences makes her ideal for Vivi’s dual role as both royalty and undercover agent.

Vivi helps free her kingdom from Baroque Works rule with the aid of the Straw Hat Pirates, making her one of the most important allies in the early Grand Line adventures.

What Season 2 Will Cover

Season 2 will cover the Baroque Works Saga, taking the story through several locations, such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs. This journey follows the Straw Hats as they enter the treacherous Grand Line and face the massive criminal syndicate led by the mysterious Mr. 0.

The season introduces Tony Tony Chopper, the adorable reindeer doctor, along with dangerous enemies and powerful allies. With 33 new cast members joining, Season 2 promises to expand the world of One Piece dramatically.

Returning Cast and Future Plans

The live-action returning core cast includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy; Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro; Emily Rudd as Nami; Jacob Romero as Usopp; and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Supporting characters like Jeff Ward’s Buggy the Clown also return.

A third season has already been confirmed and is currently in production, ensuring the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey continues beyond the Drum Island arc. Explore more about Netflix’s anime adaptations and discover upcoming streaming releases at Technosports.
