Netflix has just got released the official trailer for the live-action version of “One Piece,” about a group of young pirates.
Set to be released on August 31, the show is an adaptation of the cherished manga series of the identical name by Eiichiro Oda. The story follows a boy baptized Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) who can bounce his body like rubber and travels through a group of friends baptized the Straw Hat Pirates in search of a treasure known in place of One Piece, which would make him Pirate King.
The manga has also been modified into a long-running anime series, creating “One Piece,” a story with a dedicated following. The new trailer structures fast-paced action arrangements, lighthearted humor, fantastical amounts, and dangerous encounters. In one scene, Luffy predicts they will find the One Piece in the Grand Line, “a traitorous stretch of ocean with bigger islands and superior pirates.”

Added cast members in the show include Mackenyu using Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero employing Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
Oda, the novelist of the original manga series, has been highly involved in making this adaptation and serves as a decision-making producer. He has been vocal about how significant it is that the show honors his vision. He wrote a communication released alongside the trailer in which he communal that “There were no compromises on this show!” He also common in the letter that he wanted several scenes to be re-shot because he “felt they weren’t good sufficient to be put out into the world.” At the same time, he also praised chief actor Iñaki Godoy, writing, “There were also about lines that I thought didn’t feel like Luffy on paper…But when I saw the taped scenes, I went, ‘It works when it’s Iñaki performing it!
One Piece Season 1 Release Date
The official making for this live-action series was announced in 2020. While the issue date for the One Piece live-action TV sequences has not yet been confirmed, Netflix released the first official poster with the caption “Setting Sail 2023“.
