“One of the Two Is Lying”: Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok Face Off in The Perfect Lie’s Tense First Posters

Two people share one memory, but their stories couldn’t be more different. That’s the hook of MBC’s upcoming thriller “The Perfect Lie,” which just released its first posters on September 29, 2026. The posters do a lot of storytelling without a single word of dialogue.

The Posters: Silence That Speaks

The images show Min Joon Ho (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Kang Ji Sun (Seo Hyun Jin) looking in opposite directions. It’s a simple visual, and it works. The two characters give completely contradictory accounts of the same incident, and their turned-away gazes say it all.

One line stands out above the rest: “One of the two is lying.” So who do you trust? It’s the kind of question that makes you want to press play before the first episode even airs.

One of the Two Is Lying: Plot in Brief

“The Perfect Lie” is a psychological thriller about a man and a woman who remember the same event in opposite ways. As each fights to prove their version, they clash fiercely in a search for the truth. There’s no easy villain here. Every scene may leave you doubting who is telling the truth.
