A regulatory filing revealed this week that Nvidia sold its remaining 1.1 million Arm shares in Q4 2025, valued at approximately $140 million — reducing its equity stake to zero.

Why Nvidia Walked Away From the Equity

Selling the stake doesn’t mean Nvidia is walking away from Arm’s technology. Nvidia holds a 20-year licence for Arm IP and actively uses it — its Grace CPUs and the upcoming Vera Rubin platform are all Arm-based. Jensen Huang confirmed at the time of the failed acquisition that Nvidia would remain a proud Arm licensee for decades.
