NVIDIA ridiculously prices the RTX 3070 Ti just Rs. 1000 ($14) less than of RTX 3080

The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti could be your next affordable flagship GPU at $599

NVIDIA has officially declared the launch of their new RTX 3070 Ti GPU in India, and while writing this, we weren’t told about the Indian pricing but sent the official info as $599 MSRP.

But I dug into NVIDIA’s official site and found the pricing of the card and has made me think twice: Why the hell its priced at almost the same price as the RTX 3080?

We haven’t got hands on these review units of the GPU but was certain that it could be a good alternative for those who cannot afford RTX 3080. Now, that’s when I got surprised seeing the pricing; yes, it’s priced at a whopping Rs. 61,000, and obviously, it’s the price of the reference GPU.

NVIDIA ridiculously prices the RTX 3070 Ti just Rs. 1000 ($14) less than of RTX 3080

Whereas the RTX 3080 starts at Rs. 62,000, now, is this a joke? C’mon just Rs. 1000 ($14) difference? The difference was supposed to be $100 which in India with GST and all stands near about Rs. 10k, so keeping in mind of the RTX 3070’s price, which is Rs. 44,500, the price of the RTX 3070 Ti should have been around Rs. 55k.

Now, on the other hand, “theoritically” the RTX 3080 with much better specs will cost you just Rs.1k more, so why will you even consider the RTX 3070 Ti?

I don’t know if this is an error in pricing or not, but if it isn’t, then I am afraid NVIDIA will face a huge backlash among the angry Indian gamers, who are already thirsty to buy just even one GPU for their gaming PC.

Already many reviews have said the RTX 3070 Ti an opportunistic card that doesn’t provide value for its cost as it gives a mere 10-15% or even less performance uplift compared to the RTX 3070.

Still, gamers are hungry to get it anyhow; meanwhile, in India, seeing this pricing can easily tighten your nerves as, literally, you have almost no price gap between the RTX 3070 Ti and the RTX 3080. So do let us know your thoughts on this in the comments below, and share this article as much as possible so that NVIDIA hears you.
