Nvidia is the leading manufacturer of graphics processing units, and we already know that the company is gearing to expand its dominance further. We discussed a lot on the soon to be released Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series line-up. The cards will be based on the company’s ampere GPU’s and are said to be high-performing than its domineering 2080 Ti GPUs.
Recently, Nvidia announced adding the new COD game along with its GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 GPU purchases. The game will be added for free to select purchases of GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080. However, the RTX 3070 is not included in this new promotion.
The game supports NVIDIA RTX (ray tracing) and DLSS (deep learning super sampling, aka super-resolution) technologies, which is a massive boost in an immersive experience. The bundle being offered with the cards includes a standard version of the game, Woods Operator Pack, and Confrontation Weapons Pack.
However, it is essential to ensure that the card is purchased through an authorized retailer. NVIDIA lists all US retailers and platform partners included in the terms and conditions of this promotional deal.
The offer runs starting from today till December 10, 2020. The redemption period ends on January 11, 2021, though. The recommended system specifications with ray tracing support list GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, but the developer did not specify if this is at 1080p or 1440p resolution. Those planning to try COD at 4K resolution with RTX enabled the need to equip their systems with GeForce RTX 3080.
Nvidia is in work to acquire ARM, but its rival AMD has already acquired Xilinx and is impacting the gaming sector. Whether Nvidia’s new promotion and COD developer help the company create its domination in the graphics market once more remains to be seen.
