The dual-slot & dual-fan cooling of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 has once again been displayed in brand-new graphics card renders. In his most recent video, Moore’s Law is Dead again reveals the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card images and goes into great depth about the impending product. The RTX 4070 graphics card had already been teased by the TechTuber, but he now gives us a clearer look. even if via renderings.
The GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16 GB are part of NVIDIA’s top-end “Ada Lovelace” lineup; however, the company made no mention of its mid-range models, the RTX 4070 & RTX 4060. Now that we are looking at a purported image of the Founders Edition cooler that will be used by the RTX 4070, it appears as though the design may have been completed.
The RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16 GB are the two Founders Edition models that NVIDIA currently offers.
Although a Founders Edition version of the RTX 4080 12 GB was never intended, it makes no difference now that the card has been discontinued. NVIDIA may, however, be planning a new Founders Edition model for the RTX 4070 that is somewhat larger than the company’s RTX 3070 Founders Edition graphics card and slightly smaller than the RTX 3080 FE.
The key distinction is that the RTX 4070 will use a twin-axial flow-through design, like its larger brothers, but the GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition used a front-facing dual fan design. As a result, there will be fans on the front and at the bottom of the shroud. Additionally, it appears that the fans have been upgraded to the more modern style found on the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16 GB FE cards.
Because 128-bit 8 GB on a 70-series card or 6 GB 192-bit just appear much too lacklustre and unappealing, the AD104 GPU for the RTX 4070 will be drastically reduced, and it is likely that we will get a 160-bit bus for 10 GB or retain the 192-bit bus for 12 GB RAM. That is subject to NVIDIA. Early in 2019, the RTX 4070 is anticipated to be announced.
