The All New Nubia Z60 Ultra

In recent Weibo posts, Nubia has unveiled aspects of the Nubia Z60 Ultra’s design and key specifications, showcasing official renders that reveal at least three different color options for the device. The handset exhibits a flat display with minimal bezels and is teased to incorporate a fifth-generation full-screen Under Display Camera (UDC) on the front. The display, utilizing BOE Q9+, is said to support 2160Hz PWM dimming and boasts a pixel density of 400ppi.

The camera setup on the Nubia Z60 Ultra comprises a triple rear unit, featuring a 50-megapixel primary lens with an 18mm focal length, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor with a 35mm focal length, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm focal length. All three camera sensors are confirmed to be equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera array adopts an unconventional design, with a red circle highlighting the primary camera sensor and the periscope telephoto sensor arranged in a rectangular bump on the right side.

Furthermore, Nubia has released a teaser video comparing the display of the Nubia Z60 Ultra with that of the iPhone 15 Pro, asserting superior color contrast and brightness in the former. The official launch of the Nubia Z60 Ultra is scheduled for December 19 at 2:00 pm in China (11:30 am IST). The smartphone is anticipated to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a robust 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Additionally, it is rumored to possess an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance
