Nubia RedMagic 6R with Snapdragon 888 SoC and 144Hz display launched in China

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Nubia, has revealed a new gaming smartphone called Nubia RedMagic 6R. This smartphone comes with some really super cool features that will attract a lot of customers. The smartphone is the addition to the Nubia RedMagic 6 and RedMagic 6 Pro which were launched by the company two months back. 

Nubia RedMagic 6R flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole panel and boasts to have a stunning refresh rate of 144 Hz. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 360H touch sampling. The device runs on OS 4.0 based on Android 11.

This system includes a Sony IMX682 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 5 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front side of the device, you will spot a 16 MP camera lens for selfies and video chats. It measures 163.04 x 75.34 x 7.8mm and weighs 186 grams. This tells that how lightweight is this gaming device.

The new gaming smartphone is powered by the strongest Android chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile processor which is coupled with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The gaming smartphone has features for heat dissipation. You will find a 3D cooling system in this device which includes a graphene layer, a VC liquid cooling, a thermal gel, superconducting copper foil, and a metallic mid-frame. The smartphone is equipped with gaming trigger shoulder buttons which have a 400Hz touch sampling rate.

It draws energy from a 4,200mAh battery cell and is paired with 55W charging support. In terms of optics, it features a quad-camera module at the backside. 

It is available in three colours: Phantom Black, Stream Silver, and White. The sale of the device starts on 1st June. It is launched in a number of variants and you can check the price of each variant below:

  • 6 GB + 128 GB: ¥2699 | roughly Rs. 31,000
  • 8 GB + 128 GB: ¥2999 | roughly Rs. 34,000
  • 12 GB + 128 GB: ¥3299 | roughly Rs. 38,000
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: ¥3599 | roughly Rs. 41,000
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: ¥3999 (Limited Edition Buddha model) | roughly Rs. 46,000
