Nubia Red Magic 5S launched with an overhauled cooling system with a silver-plated vapor chamber. This smartphone comes with the flagship chipset and one of the industry leading cooling system. The Red Magic 5G was launched on March and now the brand went with the flow and launched another gaming smartphone with both Snapdragon 865 processor and Advanced cooling system, even better than the Red Magic 5G.

The Nubia Red Magic 5S looks very similar with the Red Magic 5G and comes with a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display along with 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and minimal top and bottom bezels. As for a gaming device this smartphone has capacitive touch triggers which have an even higher 320Hz touch rate for better gaming experience.
The triple rear camera setup at the back features a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The selfie camera has 12MP resolution and is placed at the top left corner within the top bezel.
The phone features Snapdragon 865 chipset along with upgraded multi-dimensional cooling system ICE 4.0 which features air-cooling and liquid-cooling as well. The cooling system comes with a high-efficiency centrifugal fan which speeds up to 15,000 rpm and gets a transparent air duct design along with aerospace-grade nano thermal material and 10 intelligent temperature sensors with an L-shaped liquid cooling tube.
Red Magic 5S comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage just like the Red Magic 5G. The phone runs on Red Magic OS on top of Android 10 and is powered by a 4,500 mAh that also supports 55W charging like the Red Magic 5G.
Price and Availability
The base variant of the Red Magic 5S with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage goes for CNY 3,799 ($542). The pre-sales of this version has already began in China. The 12GB + 256GB version goes for CNY 4,399 ($628) and the max variant 16GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 4,999 ($715). The official sales starts from August 1 and the global availability is announced in September.
