Nubia was teasing most of its features from the past weeks. Finally, the launch took place yesterday and we finally got to see the final design of the Play 5G. Nubia is infamous for its Red Magic smartphones which are best for gaming. The smartphone is more like a budget gaming smartphone. The phone packs all the necessary features and design modifications that will help users while gaming.
Specifications of Nubia Play 5G:
The Nubia Play 5G will feature a 6.65-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate similar to Nubia Red Magic 5G. Something a true gamer will always appreciate. The display has no notch or any punch-hole designs to help gamers for a seamless view.
At the back, we find a 48MP main Sony IMX582 shooter alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper aided by two 2MP modules – one for macro shots and another for depth data. The front-facing camera sensor is 12MP and is housed at the upper bezel.
Nubia Play 5G smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and Adreno 620 GPU paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. The device supports 5G connectivity. The right-hand side of the phone features the two capacitive shoulder buttons for enhanced gaming utility.
The massive 5100 mAh battery of Nova Play 5G supports 30W fast wired charging while the software front is covered by nubiaUI 8.0 on top of Android 10.
For gaming, the device features dual customizable shoulder buttons as well as an ICE 2.5 cooling system which is a combination of 61mm liquid cooling pipe, thermal gel, copper foil, and graphite sheet. Other features of the phone include dual-mode 5G – SA (standalone) / NSA (non-standalone) support, in-display fingerprint sensor, DTS Audio, and dual stereo speakers.

The Nubia Play 5G will be available in black, blue and white colors and is already up for pre-order in China. Official sales in China are scheduled to start in three days – on April 24.
