Now you can run Android Apps on Windows 11 because of Intel Bridge Technology

One of Apple’s biggest advantages is a unified system architecture with its own OS across all Apple devices. This lets you run iOS apps on your macOS, and this made Apple’s whole UI experience or, say, the Apple ecosystem even better than Windows.

Now, with the new Microsoft Windows 11, the Redmond giant is targetting Android fans who supposedly love using Windows. So, with Windows 11, starting later this year, people will be able to discover Android apps in the Microsoft Store and download them through the Amazon Appstore.

This will indeed be revolutionary as you won’t have to rely on the YourPhone app to sync your Android apps to Windows. So, you can record and post a video from TikTok or using Khan Academy Kids for virtual learning right from your PC.

However, instead of partnering with Google, the maker of Android, there is a catch that makes sense as Google is doubling down on its own Chrome and Fuchsia OS. Instead, Microsoft will use its partnership with Amazon and Intel, using Intel Bridge technology, bringing Android apps to Windows 11.

It is expected that the Android apps on Windows 11 will likely use Microsoft’s Windows Subsystem for Linux 2. Obviously, more developers will be interested now to bring apps both to Android and Microsoft’s redesigned Store to make a broader ecosystem.

Not only this, Microsoft is even enabling developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to bring their apps regardless of whether they’re built as a Win32, Progressive Web App (PWA), or Universal Windows App (UWP) or any other app framework, creating an opportunity to reach and engage with more people.
