All About the Nothing Phone 2!

Ahead of the July launch, Nothing has announced that the Phone 2 will be manufactured in India specifically to meet the demands of the Indian market. He emphasized that the iconic transparent design of Nothing smartphones requires advanced manufacturing processes and precision engineering, which have contributed to the enhancement of smartphone manufacturing capabilities in India.

Nothing has also disclosed its sustainability approach for the Phone 2. The device will have a lower carbon footprint compared to the previous model, featuring three times more recycled or bio-based materials. Additionally, the phone will be packaged in a plastic-free package. The aluminum frame of the device will be made entirely from 100% recycled materials and manufactured using 100% renewable energy.

CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will come with a larger battery and display. The handset will house a 4700mAh battery, facilitated by the increased form factor of the device, allowing for more battery capacity. This, combined with the power efficiency of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, is expected to enhance battery life.

The Phone 2 has also been confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch display, which is 0.15 inches larger than its predecessor. It is reasonable to expect the device to launch with at least 12GB of RAM, with the possibility of an 8GB RAM variant as well. Storage options are anticipated to include 128GB and 256GB. These are the known specifications and features of the Nothing Phone 2 as of now.
