Nothing has not fallen short of building up the hype around its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1), it is scheduled to launch on the 12th of July in global markets and India as well. The device has entered the manufacturing stage in the country which means that it will continue to tease more features of the smartphone before its launch. A brand new teaser for this smartphone gives us clues about its design.
Nothing Phone (1) will arrive with flat edges:
The first device from the brand will feature a flat-edged design and it has a silver-colored frame with rounded corners. On the rear shell, from what is visible, we can see that the smartphone has a metallic build. The camera setup appears to be present in the upper-left corner and it has two sensors.
The brand has confirmed that the Phone (1) will have a recycled aluminum mid-frame with a transparent back and it will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset with support for wireless charging. The device does not have a chin which means we will get an amazing screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of the display, we will get a 120Hz AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint scanner with up to 8GB RAM. We do not know what the battery capacity of the device will be but it comes with support for 45W wired charging.
As per a recent leak, the Nothing Phone (1) costs around EUR 550 or Rs. 45,120 in Europe. The launch event set to happen on the 12th of July could also witness the arrival of other Nothing products such as the Ear (2) TWS buds and a magnetic charging case.
