The smartphone will feature a Snapdragon chipset and the latest leak gives us some more details of the display, Nothing is currently doing an extended teaser campaign for its first smartphone. The company is releasing information in small parts, it revealed that the launch will happen very soon, as per the latest teaser from the brand we now have somewhat of a clue as to when the phone will launch. As per the company’s official Twitter, they just posted a cryptic “This Week” message which may mean that it could come out this week.
But considering Nothing’s history, this could be another ploy from the brand to build up more hype for the phone. We can expect certain key details and specs to be revealed later this week but nothing more!
Ahead of the launch, a source revealed some interesting details about the phone. The device will reportedly pack a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a Full HD+ OLED display panel, and a ‘no chin’ design with ultra-slim bottom bezels.
The source claims that the display will measure 6.55″ and it will have a variable refresh rate ranging between 90Hz and 120Hz. In terms of the chip, we can expect it to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip, which is disappointing considering the new standard for flagship phones is the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus chipset.
The device will pack 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In terms of OS, it will run on Nothing OS-based on Android 12 OS by default. Users will get 3 years of OS updates and up to 4 years of security updates.
