Chelsea to sign Alex Matos from Norwich City imminently
Alex Matos has been quite impressive for Norwich City this season. He plays for them in the second tier of Premier League 2 and has made 13 appearances for Norwich’s Under-21. In that time, he has provided three assists and has also played eight times for the Norwich Under-18s, as well as the FA Youth Cup.
He joined the Canaries on scholarship terms in 2021, and is now expected to make the step up to one of the best academies in the country. Matos can play as a winger, as well as a midfielder and is seen as a very bright prospect.
The teenagerwill be a part of Chelsea’s U21 side next season, which is being rebuilt to be more competitive next season as promised by Todd Boehly.
