Nokia is apparently developing the G42, a mid-range phone. The device was recently discovered on the Geekbench benchmarking site, and it has now been discovered in the Bluetooth SIG authority’s database. Another Nokia phone, the Nokia G310 5G, has acquired Bluetooth certification.
The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms that Nokia phones with model numbers TA-1573 and TA-1591 / TA-1581 would be released under the names G310 5G and Nokia G42 5G. Aside from Bluetooth 5.1 connection, the Bluetooth listings for both phones have revealed their important characteristics.
According to Bluetooth specifications, the Nokia G42 5G and G310 5G would have a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a V-shaped notch.
The screen will have an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a brightness of up to 560 nits. A layer of Gorilla Glass 3 will protect the screen.

Both smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G CPU. Both tablets will ship with the Android 13 operating system preinstalled. The G42 5G was discovered to have 4 GB of RAM on Geekbench. According to some rumours, it will also be available with 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. There is currently no information available about the device’s camera setups or battery size.
