A couple of months ago, in August, HMD Global had announced a few devices in the Indian market, all entry-level devices such as the Nokia XR20, Nokia C30, C20 Plus, G10, and C01 Plus. Apart from the C20 Plus, none of the models were available in India.
Earlier today, the Finland-based company has officially launched a new budget C-Series smartphone in the Indian market, the Nokia C30.
The smartphone comes with a 6.82″ HD+ LCD display that offers a screen resolution of 1600 x 720p with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A processor that is paired with an IMG8322 GPU.
It comes in two storage configurations, a 3GB RAM+32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage variant and a 4GB RAM with 64GBeMMC 5.1 internal storage.
Both the models have a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity up to 256GB.
Coming to the camera specs of the device, the Nokia C30 has a 13MP primary sensor on the rear that has been paired with a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 5MP selfie shooter on the front.
The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for added protection, in terms of connectivity, the device comes with support for Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS+GLONASS, and has a micro-USB port.
The new Nokia C30 runs on Android 11 OS out-of-the-box and has a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Nokia continues to not let us down when it comes to the battery life of their devices!
The device measures 177.7×79.1×9.9mm and weighs roughly 237g.
The Nokia C30 comes in two color options, a Green and a White one. The base model with 3GB RAM+32GB storage retails for 10,999 INR whereas the 4GB RAM model retails for 11,999 INR.
The smartphone has been launched in a strategic partnership with Reliance Jio, making it the fourth Nokia device that comes with the benefits of the special JioExclusive program.
Customers are eligible to get instant price support of 10% or a maximum of 1,000 INR and will have to pay 9,999 INR and 10,999 INR respectively for the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variant respectively.
