The Nokia C22 is scheduled to launch on May 11 in India, the licensee HMD Global announced on Saturday. Alongside the Nokia C32, the new C-series was introduced in February in a few European markets. The Nokia C22 sports a 6.5-inch LCD screen and two back cameras, the primary of which has a 13-megapixel resolution. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and runs Android 13 (Go edition), which is said to provide up to three days of battery life on a single charge
The Nokia C22 is water-resistant thanks to its IP52 construction. The Nokia C22 will be released in India in two days, according to a tweet made on Tuesday by Nokia. According to rumors, the smartphone would have AI-backed cameras and three-day battery life. But the manufacturer has not disclosed the smartphone’s price in India.
Nokia C22 Pricing and Specs
In February, the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 made their debuts in Europe. The smartphone’s initial price was set at roughly Rs. 9,500, and it comes in Charcoal, Purple, and Sand color options.
The Indian version of the phone is probably going to have many of the same specs as the European version. The 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD display on the dual SIM (nano) Nokia C22 runs Android 13 (Go edition). It is driven by a 2-GB RAM, octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC. The inbuilt RAM can practically be extended using unused storage.
The C22 has a dual rear camera system with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens for optics. An 8-megapixel camera for selfies. It has 64GB of internal storage, which can be increased by another 256GB using a microSD card slot. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor located on the back and supports face unlock. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capability. For resistance to splashes and dust, it has an IP52 rating.
