Finland’s HMD Global has recently launched Nokia 8 V 5G UW. This is the second 5G smartphone from Nokia after the launch of the Nokia 8.3 5G. This phone has been launched specifically for US carrier Verizon. Let’s check out what are the specifications this phone is offering to its users.
The Nokia 8 V 5G UW is available in two variants: single SIM and dual SIM (nano). This phone runs on the Android 10 OS (Android 11 update is coming very soon) and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.81-inch full-HD+ PureDisplay with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a punch-hole display. This phone comes in a Meteor Grey color variant.
The SD 765G SoC of this phone is paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone features a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the selfies, this phone has a 24MP selfie snapper at the front. This phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Coming to the battery part, this phone is fueled up by a decent 4,500mAH battery with the support of an 18W fast charging. As per the dimension, this phone measures 171.9mm x 78.5mm x 8.9mm and weighs around 226 grams.
Coming to the pricing availability, Nokia 8 V 5G UW carries a price tag of $699.99 (roughly Rs. 52,000) and the sale will start on November 12. This phone will only be available in the US through Verizon’s website, local retailers, and so on. There is no global availability of this phone.
