Neymar’s goal against Venezuela in the 65th minute was his 67th international goal by scoring a penalty into the bottom left corner which brought him closer to Lionel Messi’s international goals and is just 5 goals behind him and is just 7 goals behind Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri.

Neymar also provided an assist later in the game. After the match his total tally in International matches at a total of 67 goals and 46 assists.

Neymar Jr grabbed the man of the match award for his performance after grabbing his 67th goal and is just 10 goals behind Brazil’s international top goal scorer the one and only legendary Pele who currently sits on the top with 77 international goals.

Neymar is currently the 5th highest active international goal scorer and is current part of the Brazilian national team participating in the Copa America held in Brazil.

Brazil will face Peru this Friday in the Copa America and apparently the favorites to win the tournament this year.

And earlier there were speculations regarding Neymar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain but however the rumors are now cleared as he recently signed a new contract with PSG. And also expressed his pleasure over extending his stay at Parc des Princes.
