Journalist Daniel Rolo has criticised PSG’s Brazilian star Neymar for his actions off the pitch. According to Rolo, the winger arrives at training in a drunken state and hardly trains with his teammates anymore.

“Neymar hardly trains anymore, he arrives in a sorry state, almost drunk,” Riolo told RMC Sport.

“That’s the way it is, Neymar is in a spirit of revenge against PSG.”

Neymar criticised for behaviour following PSG’s UCL exit

The former Barcelona player is the most expensive transfer in the history of football. He is also the highest earner in PSG’s squad, earning a salary worth £41 million per season. But, that price tag has not been justified by his performances on the pitch.

"Neymar is a problem for PSG. He does not train anymore. He arrives every morning almost drunk."

“PSG fans don’t give a s**t about Neymar’s antics or his Netflix documentary,” he added.

“We have to sign his check and let him go. He’s doing a lot of damage to the club. Let him go, he is ruining PSG.”

The Champions League Round of 16 exit against Real Madrid was one of the main points of criticism for the Brazilian. Fans of the club have been jeering and whistling at the Brazilian following the exit, and their recent away defeats in Ligue 1 have not helped the cause either.

“PSG are no longer a club,” he noted.

“There is no common thread. The coach no longer exists, the president has not said a word.”

“After such a disaster, the bolts should have been tightened. But, nothing. Neither from [sporting director] Leonardo nor from [president] Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Nothing. A total defeat.”
