Every great CEO needs people she can trust — and The Intern‘s Korean remake just gave us a proper look at the two who’ve got Han So Hee’s back. New stills have been released featuring Kim Jun Han and Ryu Hye Young, the loyal colleagues standing beside Sun Woo as her company navigates its biggest disruption yet: a 37-year-veteran intern.
The film reimagines the beloved 2015 Hollywood original, with Choi Min Sik stepping into the “senior intern” role and Han So Hee playing Sun Woo, the fast-rising CEO of fashion startup Wootutu.
Meet the Supporting Cast
Kim Jun Han plays Young Hwan, Wootutu’s practical vice president and Sun Woo’s longtime right-hand man, who helped scale the company into a business worth tens of billions of won. The stills capture his range — a relaxed, approachable colleague in one shot, and a serious, cool-headed decision-maker in the next. Director Kim Do Young praised his “exceptional sense of balance” and the stability he brings to the screen.
Ryu Hye Young plays Min Ah, the team leader of Wootutu’s management support team and Sun Woo’s dependable left-hand woman. Described as an “AI-obsessed” workplace character, Min Ah gets put through the emotional wringer in the stills — immersed in her work one moment, visibly flustered by unexpected chaos the next. Co-star Choi Min Sik didn’t hold back his praise either, calling her performance “truly like a fish in water.”
