After launching an array of gaming, premium, 2-in-1 laptops, Dell has refreshed its Inspiron 15 7000 laptop series with the latest 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake-H CPUs and also offers optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16-series discrete GPUs.
The Dell Inspiron 14 7000 laptops with Ryzen 4000 mobile APUs provide great overall performance while these new costlier Dell Inspiron 15 7000 laptops which feature the 14 nm Comet Lake refresh offer superior performance being paired with dedicated NVIDIA graphics.
The new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 laptops sports 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-glare LED backlight display with Wide Viewing Angles and covers 100% sRGB colour gamut. The display also supports Dolby Vision support and high screen-to-body ratio along with 4-sided narrow border.
The laptop feature two CPU options: either the quad-core Intel Core i5-10300H with up to 4.5 GHz clock speed or the 6-core Intel Core i7-10750H with up to 5.0 GHz boost frequency. It is paired with 8GB for Core i5 model & 16GB DDR4 2933MHz RAM for the Core i7 model.
For storage, the Core i5 model comes with 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage and the Core i7 model features 512GB or 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. For graphics, you can either stick to the Intel UHD 630 iGPU or opt for a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics.
All the options vary regionally, here I am referencing the UK options only, also it features Fingerprint Reader along with HD camera with webcam privacy shutter and a dark grey backlit keyboard which matches with the Sandstorm colour of the 2-in-1 laptop.
On the connectivity front, we have Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2×2 (Gig+) as well as Bluetooth 5.0 options. Dell has included just a 56WHr/97WHr battery with ExpressCharge support that charges your battery from 0% up to 80% in an hour. The Dell Mobile Connect makes this easier for you to experience seamless automation and productivity.
Coming to the pricing, the UK prices for the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 laptop series range from £829 ($1,013) for the Core i5-10300H base variant with 8 GB + 256 GB & integrated Intel graphics.
Whereas, the price of the discrete GPU variants with Core i7-10750H varies up to £1,299 ($1,588) for the top-end model with 16 GB + 1 TB & GTX 1650 Ti. The laptop series is only available in the UK, Australia, Italy, Austria while there’s no availability for the US or India.
