What Is “Long Vacation” About?
“Long Vacation” is a heartwarming romance fantasy about Demon 3375, who arrives at a seaside village in South Korea on a new mission and meets hotel room attendant Lee Deul Pan at a seaside hotel — experiencing new emotions for the very first time.
A demon who has never known love, meeting a fiercely capable human woman in the quiet beauty of a coastal town — it’s the kind of premise that writes itself into your heart before a single frame is shot.
Long Vacation Cast: Two Proven Powerhouses
Choo Young Woo, who impressed audiences in “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,” “Mercy for None,” and “Head Over Heels,” will play Demon 3375 — a powerful being completely unacquainted with love. Watching him navigate human emotions for the first time is going to be genuinely compelling.
Lee Se Young, celebrated for her performances in “The Red Sleeve,” “The Story of Park’s Contract Marriage,” and “What Comes After Love,” takes on the role of Lee Deul Pan, a hotel room attendant whose life skills are described as maxed out. She’s one of the most consistently brilliant actresses in the K-drama space, and this role sounds tailor-made for her.
The Dream Creative Team Behind It
This is where “Long Vacation” truly sets itself apart. The drama will be directed by Lee Jung Hyo, known for the global mega-hit “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!”, with the script penned by Jung Hyun Jung, the writer behind “I Need Romance,” “Lovestruck in the City,” and “Romance Is a Bonus Book.”
That’s a creative duo with a proven track record of crafting stories that feel deeply romantic and emotionally real — the gold standard in Korean drama storytelling.
