Presently Netflix has three plans. The first two are ‘Basic’ and ‘Standard’ which costs ₹499 and ₹649 per month respectively. The final one is ‘Premium’ and is costs ₹799 per month. Due to the present offer, new Indian subscribers of the ‘Basic’ plan can enjoy the facilities of ‘Standard’ and the ‘Standard’ plan holders can enjoy ‘Premium’ for 30 days, totally free of cost.

After the consumption of the 30 days of free benefits, Netflix will ask the subscriber if s/he wants to stay at the higher plan or not. If it gets positive feedback, the general amount will be charged. Otherwise the subscribers again will be demoted to the previous lower plan.

If one upgrades his/her plan from ‘Basic’ to ‘Standard’ the video streaming quality will be upgraded to HD from SD and the screen can be shared with another one. The upgradation from ‘Standard’ to ‘Premium’ will provide UHD picture quality, up to 4K. Besides, the user can watch its contents in four screens instead of two.
