Sometimes, fans just refuse to let their favourite shows die quietly — and the creators of Paradise PD and Farzar are proving exactly that. After Netflix pulled the plug on both beloved adult animated series, creators Roger Black and Waco O’Guin are delivering the ending fans always deserved, just through a wildly unexpected format.
What’s Happening? The Quick Breakdown
Black and O’Guin have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a graphic novel titled Paradise PD & Farzar: The Final Season — a fully funded, uncensored crossover that brings together the fan-favourite characters from both Netflix series for the very first time.

What’s the Story About?
The graphic novel picks up right after the explosive events that concluded both series. Chief Crawford has hit rock bottom after his infant son was abducted by the villainous Charles Lovely, forcing the Paradise PD crew to travel through space and time — eventually landing on the planet of Farzar for a massive crossover event.
The creators also revealed they had this ending planned for seven years, and a crossover with Paradise PD was originally intended for Farzar Season 2 before Netflix cancelled the show in late 2023.
What Do Backers Get?
The campaign offers reward tiers ranging from a $20 digital PDF edition all the way up to a $4,000 tier where backers get roasted and animated into an exclusive video. whats-on-netflix Physical editions, collector pins, t-shirts, and exclusive merchandise are also available.
The graphic novel format has a rich history as a storytelling medium — Wikipedia’s overview of graphic novels explains why it’s become such a powerful vehicle for mature, complex narratives that TV sometimes can’t contain.
