The dream is dead. Netflix has officially scrapped David Fincher’s rumored Squid Game spin-off, codenamed Heckler.

Despite massive fan hype, the project failed to materialize as the streamer pivots toward localized content over big-budget franchise expansions. Fincher remains locked in on his upcoming Cliff Booth film instead.
