After making it to the Asian Cup earlier this year, Nepal have now made further history by qualifying for an ICC tournament yet  again.

Kushal Malla played an important role in their win over the UAE, registering figures of 3/11 in 3 overs, restricting them to a relatively low total in the first innings.

West Indies, United States of America, Australia, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Nepal and Oman have confirmed their participation in the T20 World Cup next year.

Oman and Nepal had to achieve their qualification through the 2024 Qualifiers, and will face each other in the final game of the Asian Qualifiers for the title.
