Nazara Technologies (https://www.nazara.com/), in collaboration with Virstate and under agreement with Reissad Studio, today announced the global launch of Bodycam UEFN. This official adaptation of the tactical shooter is now available within the Fortnite ecosystem, integrating its distinctive body-camera perspective and close-quarters combat.

Developed by Virstate using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and published by Nazara Technologies, Bodycam UEFN incorporates the franchise’s characteristic gameplay elements, including its realistic atmosphere and high-pressure multiplayer dynamics, into Epic Games’ platform. Players can access the experience by searching for “Bodycam” in Fortnite Discover or by entering island code: 9784-3946-5466.

The project is positioned as a free-to-play entry point into the Bodycam universe, designed to introduce the franchise to new players while offering existing fans an alternative experience. It is not intended as a replacement for the original Bodycam PC version.

Nitish Mittersain, MD & CEO of Nazara Technologies, stated that Bodycam UEFN marks Nazara’s initial development effort within Fortnite, signaling plans for further expansion. He highlighted Fortnite’s growing role as a discovery platform and affirmed UEFN’s capability to host premium-quality first-person shooter experiences, setting a precedent for future intellectual property integrations and partnerships.

Nazara Technologies: Gameplay and Strategic Intent

At launch, Bodycam UEFN features “Russian Building,” a notable environment from the original game, recreated to emphasize authenticity, atmosphere, visual fidelity, and tactical encounters. The map is optimized for close-quarters combat, where player positioning, reflexes, sound awareness, and precision are critical.

The adaptation offers three multiplayer modes:
Free For All: Individual combatants compete in fast-paced matches.
Team Deathmatch: Two teams aim to reach a predetermined score limit.
Gun Game: Players advance through an evolving weapon arsenal by securing eliminations to achieve victory.

The experience also incorporates progression systems, allowing players to climb ranks, unlock weapons, and earn rewards. Bodycam UEFN is planned as a live service, with future updates expected to introduce additional maps inspired by the original game, new weapons and equipment, seasonal content, community events, and expanded gameplay modes.

Nazara Technologies aims for Bodycam UEFN to demonstrate the potential of UEFN as a viable platform for major gaming intellectual property expansion.
