Naon Zero-One e-scooter released with a top speed of 100km/h and a rang of 140KM

The Zero-one electric scooter is the latest offering by the German manufacturer Naon and it appears to be a clear departure from the conventional e-bike with a fresh and tech-driven design to go along with some decent riding features.

The Naon Zero-One has just been unveiled in the European market and its unique design has put it in a commanding position among its more reputed competitors. The Naon Zero-One electric scooter comes with long, flat, and running boards, and exposed rear swingarm, and an angular seat.

Some of the features that are new to the Vespa like e-scooters have swarmed the market. There are a few different configurations of the Zero-One with the highest model offering top speeds of up to 100km/h and a range of 140km.

The Naon Zero-One has a 7kW rear hub electric motor that can deliver up to 10kW peak power. It comes with a single 2.4kWh battery, although this can be scaled up with an additional battery. The batteries are stored just under the rider’s feet and they are removable, hence the under-seat is available as a storage cabinet.

The Naon Zero-One e-scooter is fast enough to ride on highways but its drawback is its short range. Apart from this, the e-scooter is perfect for intra-city commutes. The other versions of the Zero-One could serve the needs of different demographics in the market including the L1e and L3e models. The L1e has a top speed of 45km/h and could be a great option for city dwellers who wish to commute with an e-bike.

In terms of pricing, the Naon Zero-One L1E model is priced at $5,640 or 4,21,109 INR while the more powerful L1e model costs $7,360 or 5,49,439 INR without any battery included. The batteries are priced at $1,145 or 85,476 INR or rented at a monthly fee of $29 or 2,164 INR.
