A Visionary Filmmaker’s Bold Debut

Helming this daring cinematic venture is debutant director Arnab Chatterjee. However, Chatterjee isn’t simply wearing the director’s hat; he is also credited as the writer and producer, turning this film into a deeply personal passion project. His journey in the world of cinema began remarkably early—directing short films by the age of 8 and establishing his own production house, ACjee Productions, at just 13.

Now, teaming up with Reliance Entertainment, Arnab Chatterjee embarks on his biggest professional milestone yet. Murderbaad is set to be a reflection of his distinctive creative voice—one that refuses to be boxed within conventional genres. With this film, audiences can expect a narrative that fearlessly explores the fine line between love and violence, pushing the boundaries of mainstream storytelling.

Power-Packed Cast Brings Depth to the Story

Leading the ensemble are Nakul Roshan Sahdev and Kanikka Kapoor, both of whom portray pivotal roles expected to anchor the emotional gravity of the film. Supporting them are an impressive roster of seasoned performers including Sharib Hashmi, Manish Chaudhary, and Saloni Batra.

Further enriching the narrative are veterans like Aanjan Srivastava, Amol Gupte, and Masood Akhtar. Their inclusion elevates expectations, suggesting that Murderbaad will not only be a visual spectacle but also a performance-driven experience. The blend of emerging and established talent ensures the film will deliver both emotional authenticity and compelling screen presence.

Cinematic Craftsmanship and Musical Grandeur

While Murderbaad leans heavily into its dark romantic-thriller roots, its aesthetic ambitions are equally noteworthy. Renowned cinematographer Binod Pradhan, known for his work in some of Indian cinema’s most visually stunning films, brings his expertise behind the lens. His involvement guarantees that the film’s visuals will capture both the beauty and brutality of the unfolding drama.

Complementing the atmospheric visuals is a music team comprising industry stalwarts—Shaan, Nakash Aziz, and Amit Kumar. Their combined musical contributions are expected to offer a diverse and emotionally resonant soundtrack, adding another layer to the cinematic experience. With such names attached, Murderbaad aims to captivate not just through storytelling but also through striking imagery and melodious compositions.
