Mumbai City FC have picked up a huge win against NorthEast United, with Vikram Pratap Singh scoring a hat-trick to give his side a 4-1 win at home. The Highlanders finished with 10 men, with Parthib Gogoi seeing red in the fourth minute of injury time.

Gogoi’s altercation with Apuia was the catalyst for his sending-off, and he will miss the next game against Kerala Blasters, which will be a huge one.

Jithin MS pulled back a consolation goal for the visitors with ten minutes remaining on the clock, taking away the clean sheet from the Sky Blues. However, it was too little too late as all the damage had already been done.
