Recently Warner Bros. and Player First Games have announced that the MultiVersus Returns will be launched on May 28, 2024, in full. So, that’s a big bliss of relief for the players who were eagerly looking for the game.
We get to know about the MultiVersus Returns release from a new development update video that was shared by Player First Today. In the video, we can see Tony Huyhn, the studio’s director and co–founder hosting the video and confirming the release date.
So, this time, these are not just some rumours but official announcements of the MultiVersus Returns release date. In addition, the video that was shared also revealed the concept art for new stages in the game.
Also, it showed enhanced visuals and improved performance. The latter is only possible because of the Unreal Engine 5, which is helping the game development studio significantly.
The video further mentions about the “new personalities”, new PvE mode, and new netcode. Although the video doesn’t confirm any specifics, and that’s a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the MultiVersus Returns video did reveal various crucial information.
We all know that the MultiVersus Returns was previously announced in the year 2021 in November and the first open beta session was to begin in 2022. But last summer the open beta was halted, despite that MultiVersus became the most successful fighting game on Steam.
Also, it is the most successful WB game and achieved many more milestones in terms of user number and sales. And now its MultiVersus Returns is finally ready for release this year.
