Next-gen gaming laptops seem to be costlier than ever, thanks to the huge performance boost they are getting with upcoming new Intel/AMD and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. This MSI GS77 Stealth has completely been leaked by Videocardz and we get a good look at its specs as well as pricing.
As we already know, the Intel 12th Gen Core Alder Lake-P series will be offering up to 14 cores and 20 threads while MSI opting up to Core i9-12900H, which has not yet been spotted in leaks that often. However, we do have seen the Core i9-12900HK variant before, but MSI is not using it on this laptop.
The MSI GS77 Stealth can be seen to be configured from a Core i7-12700H/RTX3070Ti combo to up to 12900H/RTX3080Ti. On the other hand, the price of this MSI GS77 Stealth varies from 2800 EUR to 4460 EUR including VAT.
This 17-inch gaming laptop looks very subtle and features a zinc alloy hinge mechanism with its new core black colour, however, there are no detailed specs of the hardware used here. All we know is that these laptops will support DDR5-4800 RAM, Thunderbolt™ 4 support, come with both 15-inch and 17-inch UHD display options with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of graphics, you have an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR6 memory, Per-Key RGB gaming keyboard by SteelSeries, latest Intel Wi-Fi 6, stereo speakers, 99.9Whr battery and a 1080p webcam. Well, indeed the specs are premium for a gaming laptop for a huge price, still having a weight of up to 2.8Kg.
Videocardz has also confirmed the fact that MSI will officially announce these new 12th Gen powered gaming laptops on January 4th itself after Intel announces these new Alder Lake-P mobile processors and NVIDIA its RTX 3080Ti/3070Ti Laptop GPUs.
