MSI adopts 11th Gen Rocket Lake for its Z490 motherboard lineup

Intel’s upcoming 11th Rocket Lake CPUs will be launched soon, and the processors are already creating a buzz in the market for being the resurrection stone Intel was searching for. With many OEMs planning to extend their motherboard support for Intel’s upcoming lineup, PC manufacturer MSI becomes the latest OEM to announce its full support for Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake.

Announcing itself, MSI stated that its Z490 motherboard lineup will be configured to support the Rocket Lake. Along with the BIOS, MSI has also shared its internal performance numbers, demonstrating resizable-BAR enabled on Intel’s Z490 platform & also shared an official release plan for the AGESA 1.1.9.0 BIOS firmware for AMD 500 & 400 series motherboards.
