Jimmy Donaldson, who is popularly known as MrBeast, came good on his promise to back YouTuber Pewdiepie, as he brought in T-Series to overtake the Indian music label to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube. MrBeast announced he intended to support the Swedish YouTuber earlier in the year, and he has now gotten what he wanted. He posted a screenshot of the subscriber numbers on social media, declaring the achievement.

“After 6 years we have finally avenged Pewdiepie” — MrBeast (@MrBeast) on April 1, 2019 The screenshot he posted featured him having 266+ million followers in comparison to T-Series.

Elon Musk offered congratulations on Twitter: “Wow, congrats!” It went viral immediately upon his post with almost 10 million views with tons of likes and comments. Fans flocked to the comments section to express their excitement and reactions.

One fan wrote, “So proud of you, Jimmy. Thanks, everyone. This is the craziest feeling ever.” Another shared, “I’m literally shaking and crying right now I can’t believe we finally did it.” A third commented, “History has been made, great job MrBeast.” A fourth added, “Congratulations! This is a long time coming and very much deserved!” “GOAT, we love you,” said a fifth.

Speaking with Jon Youshaei, Jimmy Donaldson looked back on the road with all the controversies of Pewdiepie vs T-Series, and here is him. “I got a little ‘this country versus that country’. I don’t think Felix took it there, but it even got a little racist in the sub-war before. So I’m very cognizant of it, which is why I’m not leaning into it too hard. I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator”, said MrBeast.

MrBeast’s achievement not only supports Pewdiepie but also solidifies his position as a leading content creator on YouTube, demonstrating his commitment to his channel and his fans.
