Motorola is preparing to launch a new color variant for its flagship Razr 50 Ultra, which first debuted in China in June. The new color will come standard in three Pantone Validated colors—Dill, Navy Blazer, and Peach Fuzz—with the fourth likely to be a delightful surprise color tied into the 2025 Color of the Year. The permanent name of the supposed new color is unknown, but leaker Evan Blass believes it will be called Mocha Mousse (a brown color). Motorola hints at a December 5 unveiling of the new color gradient.

The only difference lies in terms of the specifications, which we presume will be similar to what is being offered with the stock model. Its 6.9-inch FHD+ P-OLED foldable internal display supports a refresh rate between 1Hz and 165Hz, and it has a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The phone also comes with a 4-inch cover display, and according to the company, it should offer an improved experience when folded up.
The Razr 50 Ultra is running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 flagship chipset and packs a 4,000mAh battery — compatible with both 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra runs Android 14 featuring Motorola’s optimized software customization, MyUX – which gives you the quality of life benefits from a near-stock system while offering an extensive array of customizations.
For photography, the Razr 50 Ultra is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 32MP selfie camera. Currently available in India for ₹79,999, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is yet to announce whether the new color variant will be available outside of China. Fans are eagerly awaiting its official release to see if this new shade will make it to international markets.
