Earlier this month, the Motorola Moto G52 was spotted on multiple certification sites that confirmed its existence. However, there was no news with respect to the device after that. Now 91Mobiles has shared some official renders and specs of the device as we inch closer to the official release date.
The Motorola Moto G52 will be an upgrade over the Motorola Moto G51, the smartphone will have the same triple camera setup and punch-hole design that the G51 had. The Moto G52 is codenamed ‘Rhode’ and it has a large punch-hole panel, a 6.55″pOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Motorola Moto G52 has a vertical camera placement with a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device features a 16MP selfie shooter. On the rear, it flaunts the Motorola logo along with some text. It has a SIM tray on the left spine and a volume rocker with the power button on the right.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chip and will be paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB storage options. The device will unfortunately only support 4G which is surprising as the Moto G51 supported 5G.
The Motorola Moto G52 has a 5,000mAh battery with IP52 water and dust resistance rating. There are no other details about the charging speed of the device, it will run on Android 12 OS and come in Black, White, and Blue color options. Motorola has not yet revealed the official launch date of the Moto G52 but we can expect it to debut internationally soon.
