Motorola launches the Moto G51 in India with a 120Hz display and Snapdragon 480 chipset

Motorola has launched the Moto G51 in India. The new smartphone was first announced in China last month and it has now finally arrived in the Indian market.

The Moto G51 features a 6.8″ FHD+ LCD display with a punch-hole display and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It also comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and it offers an 83.81% screen-to-body ratio.

The Moto G51 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chip which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is an option to increase the memory via a microSD card.

The device runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box and it also has an IP52 water resistance rating.

Coming to the camera specs, the device has a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter.

There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear for biometrics. The Moto G51 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Other features include Dolby Atmos support, 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Moto G51 will be priced at 14,999 INR for the 4GB+64GB storage variant. This price is after the 3,000 INR discount. The smartphone will be available in two colors, Bright Silver and Indigo Blue.

The Moto G51 will be available on Flipkart from the 16th of December.
