Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition released with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC

Lenovo and Motorola were the first brands to launch a device powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip back in December 2021 in China. The device was then launched under the moniker of Motorola Edge 30 Pro globally and was well-received by Moto fans.

Nearly 6 months after its launch, the Android flagship market in 2022 is a whole lot more competitive than ever, due to this, Lenovo has revealed the Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition that arrives in a 12GB RAM+512 GB configuration in the Chinese market. Let us take a look at the detailed specifications of this phone.

The Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition will be available in limited numbers as Moto wants to market it as a limited product that will be exclusive to only some users who jump to buy it. In terms of specifications, the device will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The device features a 10-bit 144Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, a touch sampling rate of 576Hz, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. In terms of optics, the Moto Edge X30 Champion Edition has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP OmniVision OV50A40+50MP ultrawide angle lens+2MP depth sensor setup on the rear.

Motorola has integrated an amazing set of stereo speakers that deliver an optimal audio experience, it has been certified for Snapdragon Sound and has Dolby Atmos support. The Edge X30 arrives with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W charging.

Your phone can go from 0 to 100% within just 13 minutes. The device will be running the company’s MyUI 3.0 OS out-of-the-box based on Android 12 OS. The standard version of this device retails for $499 or 38,600 INR while the Champion Edition retails for 37,900 INR. As part of an introductory offer, it will be priced at 34,429 INR. The first sale begins on the 11th of May at 10 AM. It is surprising that despite being a limited edition device, the Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition is priced lesser than the original Edge X30.
