The Upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Ultra
As per a report by Android Headlines, it is expected that the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is also rumored to come with the Hello UI based on Android 14 promising three years of software updates. The phone is said to feature a triple camera system on its back including 50MP sensors and a periscope lens with a length of 75mm for around 5x optical zoom. Moreover, laser autofocus will be located above the periscope lens and a triple LED flash positioned to its right.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will showcase a curved display with a selfie camera cutout, in the center. It may come in three color choices. The Peach Fuzz and Black versions will have a vegan leather back while the third option called “Sisal” will offer a brushed finish resembling beige. According to the report, the Light Beige Edge 50 Ultra stands out for its design that features a one-piece back unlike the Peach Fuzz and Black models. The light color smoothly transitions from the panel to the camera bump creating a harmonious look.
While not officially confirmed, the report suggests that the home screen of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra (in the provided images) displays the date April 3rd. This suggests that the Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra might be unveiled simultaneously. Although the speculated price for the upcoming Ultra variant is around $999 (approximately ₹83,264), this information remains unconfirmed. Additionally, it’s unclear whether the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will launch in India alongside the Motorola Edge 50 or not.
