Motorola Edge 50 Ultra India launch could be right around the corner, as per a recent teaser from Motorola. The series first launched in April with this model, several months ahead of the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion. Although India has already received the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion, it is possible that the Edge 50 Ultra will shortly be on the list.

This hints at a possible new phone in the Indian market with a wood back, presumably similar to the Nordic Wood version of the Edge 50 Ultra. Although the name of the phone is not categorically mentioned and its launch date is not yet revealed, it is expected to be launched in the upcoming days. In Europe, the Edge 50 Ultra is also the most expensive model in the series, starting at EUR 999 (roughly ₹88,800).

POCO F6 is the first phone to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset in India, the second phone in the country will be Edge 50 Ultra. Expected to be the top-end model, sitting ahead of the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion, which have a price of ₹31,999 in India. Motorola has priced the Edge 50 series quite aggressively in India and we expect the same for the Edge 50 Ultra.

Now, besides the aforementioned more powerful chipset, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra can also do a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, while the number is 2,000 nits for the Edge 50 Pro. It also offers configurations with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, surpassing the Edge 50 Pro’s 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

However, it remains uncertain if Motorola will introduce this specific memory variant in India. The Edge 50 Ultra also features superior cameras, including a 50MP OIS-enabled primary sensor, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The remaining specifications between the Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Pro are largely consistent.
