Motorola seems poised to expand its Edge 40 smartphone series by introducing a potential third member. Recent reports and speculations have been pointing towards the upcoming device being named the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. While official confirmation from the company is yet to surface, leaked 360-degree renders of the smartphone have emerged, shedding light on its color choices and certain key features. These leaked visuals indicate that the phone might incorporate a dual-camera arrangement accompanied by an LED flash on its rear panel, with suggestions of a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

A comprehensive 360-degree video of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, shared by MySmartPrice, has laid bare the design renders and color alternatives. The leaked images suggest that the purported handset’s design could echo the aesthetics of the previously launched Edge 40. As per the leaked video, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is set to sport a dual rear camera system, led by a prominent 50-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, an LED flash could find its place on a rectangular camera module.

Moving to the front, the device is anticipated to house a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout accommodating a selfie camera at the upper section of the display. Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is rumored to adopt flat edges and slim bezels. The right side of the phone reveals the presence of a volume rocker and power button, while the left side seems unadorned.

At the bottom, the device is likely to house a USB Type-C port along with a microphone, a SIM tray slot, and a speaker grille. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is showcased in three distinct color variants: Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea.

This speculated smartphone is set to join the ranks of the Motorola Edge 40 series, which currently comprises the Motorola Edge 40 and the Edge 40 Pro models. Earlier this year, the Motorola Edge 40 was unveiled, featuring a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Operating on the Android 13 platform out of the box, the handset is fueled by a non-removable 4500mAh battery, boasting 68W Turbo Charge fast charging capability.
