About a couple of weeks ago Motorola’s upcoming Capri smartphone (model numbers XT2127-1/XT2127-2) got appeared on several certification websites. Now, its big brother Motorola Capri Plus has got appeared on the Geekbench website with the model number XT2129-3. As of now, it is not confirmed that in which series the new Capri smartphones will be launched, expected to be a part of either the Moto E or Moto G lineups.
In terms of the Geekbench scores, the Motorola Capri Plus has managed to bag 306 points in the single-core department and 1,258 points on the multi-core test. From that listing, we’ve come to know some of the specifications of this upcoming device. The Capri Plus smartphone runs on the latest Android 11 OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone features a waterdrop notch panel having HD+ resolution and a faster refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Soc of this phone is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB). Coming to the camera section, this phone has a rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor along with a 13MP ultrawide sensor (expected) and a 2MP depth sensor (expected).
Apart from the Capri Plus smartphone, another Motorola is expected to get launched in 2021 having the codename “Nio”. This phone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and it is likely to feature a 6.5-inch 105Hz display. This phone was also spotted on the Geekbench website with the model number XT2125-4.
In terms of the Geekbench scores, this phone has managed to bag 958 points in the single-core department and 2,969 points on the multi-core test. The Soc of this phone is paired with 8GB RAM and it runs on the Android 11 OS. Motorola has not confirmed anything regarding the availability of this phone. But we can expect that the Motorola Nio will be unveiled in Q1 of 2021.
