The Moto E40 is coming on the heels of the launch of the Moto E20 and it features better specs than the E20. In terms of specs, the Moto E20 has a 6.5″ LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. The display features a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a punch-hole setup that houses the selfie camera.

The sleek device is powered by the Unisoc T700 processor paired with 4GB RAM. The model will be available in a single 64GB storage variant that is expandable via a microSD card.

The E40 packs a 5,000mAh battery which Motorola claims will last for two days. The battery charges via a USB-C port.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, the Moto E40 packs a triple camera setup at the rear aligned vertically. The main camera is a 48MP sensor paired with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth of field sensor.

The back panel is made of plastic with a grooved design to promote easier grip and reduce incidences of fingerprint smudges.

The back panel also contains the iconic Moto logo that is designed to double as the rear fingerprint scanner. For selfies, the device packs an 8MP front-facing shooter. On the software side, the device runs on Moto’s MyUX based on Android 11 OS.

There is no word yet on the pricing and availability but the device is expected to be unveiled for the Indian market on the 12th of October. It comes in two color choices, Carbon Gray and Pink Clay.
