Motorola and Vivo Green Line Issue details
The smartphones made by Vivo, X80, X80 Pro, and X70 Pro+ have also experienced the same problem. After applying the July 2024 update, a user with a Vivo X70 Pro+ claimed to have seen the green line. However, as we have seen, this is not a software issue; rather, it is a hardware failure. X owners of the Vivo X80 have also voiced complaints regarding this problem.
Certain situations result in a single green line appearing on the screen, while other situations have many lines of various colors running along the display.
Some of the complaints date back to September, October, and December of last year, suggesting that this problem has been around for some time. Users of the Moto G82 are also experiencing the same green line problem, although their smartphone is not physically damaged.
Due to their 2022 introduction, both phones are currently out of warranty, which presents a dilemma. Since the phones are no longer under warranty, Motorola apparently declined to provide a free screen replacement.
Numerous customers have voiced concerns regarding a green line unexpectedly appearing through the display of their smartphone. The display’s bottom to absolute top is marked by a narrow strip of green hue. Outside of this green line, the smartphone operates normally, but the flaw is really evident and inconvenient.
