Motorola has confirmed the launch of Moto G85 5G in May, which will be introduced by the company next week with a social media post. Now, after the Moto S50 Neo was launched in China alongside the Motorola Razr 50 series last month, Flipkart has created a microsite for it with a “coming soon” tag and reveals some of its key features. The microsite reveals most of the specs for Moto G85 5G like its display, processor, and battery.
The Upcoming Moto G85 5G
The Moto G85 5G will include a 6.67-inch pOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to as high as 1,600 nits. There will also be Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 on the display and it’ll cover 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Speaking of dimensions, the Moto G85 5G measures in at 175g and is just 7.59mm thick. The device will feature a vegan leather design, offered in the colors Cobalt Blue, Olive Green, and Urban Grey.
The power of the smartphone will be given by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to a maximum of 12GB RAM and storage options from between up to 128 GB. There will also be an 8GB+128GB storage option. It is designed to support a RAM boost feature and will run on Android 14 with two years of OS upgrades guaranteed as well as three years’ worth of security updates. For photography, the Moto G85 5G will have a dual camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Motorola has announced software features such as Smart Connect, Family Space, and Moto Secure for the Moto G85 5G. The handset will also have an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
