The film’s official synopsis teases a story about “the two girls who traumatized you in high school as they attempt to relive their glory days at their 10-year reunion.” Gordon is co-writing the script with her longtime friend Allie Levitan, who recently joined Saturday Night Live as a writer.
Production and Creative Team
A24 is backing Peaked, both financially and creatively, with production set to begin this year. The project will be produced by David Hinojosa and Zach Nutman of 2 AM, alongside Gordon and A24. Levitan is on board as an executive producer, and Topic Studios—who previously partnered with Gordon on Theater Camp—will co-finance the film.

Beyond Peaked, Gordon and Levitan are also collaborating on Small Parts, a film for Searchlight Pictures. Gordon is set to direct and co-write the script with Levitan. The film, inspired by the 1987 Shelly Long and Bette Midler comedy Outrageous Fortune, began production in May 2024, though its release date remains unannounced.
