AC Milan Manager	Ruben Amorim (former Man United boss)

Match Preview

This friendly carries extra storyline given Ruben Amorim now sits in the opposition dugout, having previously managed Manchester United before his departure. For Michael Carrick’s side, this is their final chance to fine-tune tactics and assess fitness levels before the competitive season begins, following earlier preseason results including a win over Rosenborg and a narrower victory over Atlético Madrid.

By the time this match arrives, United are expected to be closer to full strength, with several players returning from extended breaks following World Cup commitments over the summer. AC Milan, meanwhile, will be using the occasion to test their squad under Amorim’s early tactical setup, making this a useful measuring stick for both sides ahead of their respective league campaigns. AC Milan remain one of European football’s most decorated clubs, adding further prestige to this preseason clash.

Prediction

With United nearing full squad strength and looking to end their preseason tour on a positive note, expect a competitive, open contest. Given the unpredictability typical of late-preseason friendlies — where fitness levels and squad rotation vary significantly — a narrow result or draw looks like a realistic outcome, though United’s growing momentum under Carrick could give them the edge.

How to Watch

The match will be available through standard preseason broadcast and streaming coverage, with regional sports networks carrying the fixture depending on your location.
